RICARDO HERRERA
Director/Instructor
Ricardo is a multidisciplinary artist with a background in Media Art and Animation from the Art Institute of Portland. His experience spans film production, including art direction, set and prop design, and scenic art. With more than ten years in tattooing, he offers custom body art as well as cosmetic tattoo services including eyeliner, eyebrows, lip blush and scar camouflage.
JOHNNY HERRERA
Instructor
A tattoo artist with several years experience on a wide range of styles and techniques. Johnny has trained and become certified through some of the top training programs available including PhiBrows, PhiScalp, LDRs Academy along with training from several Masters of the Elite Artist Circuit He is our resident Scalp expert specializing in Scalp Micropigmentation.

Our program typically lasts 14 weeks covering both theory and hands-on practice to ensure you are fully prepared for a career in tattooing.
Do I need prior experience to enroll?
no prior experience needed but must be 18 and have hs diploma or equivalent.
Will I receive a certification upon completion?
Upon completion of the program the student will receive a tattoo artist’s certificate from OTZI Tattoo and a copy of your transcript will be sent to the Oregon Health licensing agency.
Is the school licensed or accredited?
Yes, we are licensed ensuring our training meets industry standards.
How do I enroll in the program?
You can enroll by filling out our online application form or by visiting our school in person. A deposit may be required to secure your spot.
Do you do night classes or online learning?
We do offer online training for the Theory portion of our program, Practical is done in person at our facility in Eagle Point. Monday through Thursday10am-4pm.
Is cpr and bbp certified included?
Yes certification for bbp/cpr/first aid are required for licensing and is provided in house as a part of our program.
